The practice,
on file.
KYI ENTERPRISES, LLC is a management and technical consulting practice headquartered in Youngstown, Ohio — organized to advise, document and leave the client able to act.
Why this
firm.
KYI ENTERPRISES, LLC was organized around a premise every good consultant knows: the deliverable isn't the meeting — it's the document the client can act on after the meeting. Advice that lives in a slide deck dies with the slide deck.
The practice runs six divisions under one standard. Management and administrative work for organizations in transition; workforce and compensation counsel for the people side; market and sales advisory for the commercial side; supply-chain and logistics consulting for operations; environmental restoration planning; and a technical-scientific bench covering two dozen disciplines.
The Youngstown office is the practice's office of record. Engagement memos, findings, recommendations and the rationale behind them — every advisory relationship leaves a written trail, kept current, producible to the client on request.
"The client doesn't pay for the consultant's opinion — they pay for the analysis that lets them disagree with it."
KYI Enterprises · Advisory doctrineDesk rules.
Six commitments that apply to every engagement.
Findings in writing
Every engagement ends with a written deliverable — findings, recommendations and the analysis supporting them. Meetings are work sessions, not deliverables.
Scope before work
The engagement memo defines scope, timeline and deliverables before the first billable hour — no open-ended consulting, no scope creep by default.
Counsel, not operations
We advise; the client decides and implements. Where we participate in implementation, it's under a separate agreement with a defined role.
Evidence over assertion
Recommendations cite their basis — data reviewed, benchmarks compared, alternatives weighed. The client should be able to argue against us.
Conflict declared
Where we serve clients in related areas, the conflict or overlap is disclosed in the engagement memo — not discovered later.
Files we keep
Engagement records are maintained to statutory retention — producible for the client, their counsel or their auditors on lawful request.
